Blacksmith

A forge is one  workshop for  production  and repair of iron objects. Iron is actually the metal that is most abundant on earth and it can be shaped into various objects. Forge production has a long history in Norway and there was always a need for a blacksmith.

With us, students and guests will get an insight into traditional crafts. You will learn more about heat treatment of iron, turning, shaping and other techniques.  

​

Forging will be an offer with us from spring 2021!

Summer course  

​

This summer we will arrange  forging course from Thursday 5 August to Sunday 8 August. The course is suitable for beginners who want an introduction to forging.  

 

You can choose between having full board and lodging here at Rondeheim or just participate  forging course.
